This Venice of America affords an abundance of opportunities to get out and enjoy nature at its finest. From skimming across The Everglades' River of Grass in an airboat, to heading out to sea for a day of diving or deep-sea fishing, you'll find our Concierge staff available daily to advise and arrange your memorable adventures into The Great Outdoors.
Water Taxi This is one of the best ways to see the city via the water and get around to Fort Lauderdale's major shopping, dining, and cultural areas. There is a marina pick-up just a block from the resort at the Bahia Cabana Restaurant, and all-day passes are available on board for $15.00.
Everglades: As the gateway to Florida's Everglades National Park, Fort Lauderdale offers a true American adventure, both exciting and educational. Experience thrilling high-speed airboat tours and observe alligators and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Fishing This is one of the few areas in the world where both fresh water and salt water fishing are within 20 minutes of the angler. In addition to more than 200 fresh water species that can be caught in the county's lakes, there are deep water fishing fleets located in Fort Lauderdale, Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, and Dania Beach; plus four municipal piers.
Scuba and Snorkeling Fort Lauderdale is recognized as one of the world's top diving locales, and our resort boasts two reefs and four dive sites right off our 1/4-mile of beach. The resort takes full advantage of its prime diving location by having a fully equipped dive shop and certified instructor right on property. TSI Aquatics offers a full range of diving experiences, from snorkeling, to scuba instruction and certification, to offshore boat excursions.
