SCUBA AND SNORKELING

The resort takes full advantage of its prime diving location by having a fully equipped dive shop and certified instructor right on property.    Aloha Sea Experience   offers a full range of diving activities,   from snorkeling and scuba instruction, to certification and offshore boat excursions. 

Fort Lauderdale is recognized as one of the world's top diving locales, and our resort boasts two reefs and four dive sites right off our 1/4- mile of beach.  The first, a flat reef, is only 100 yards offshore and home to several sea turtles.  The 2nd reef, 300 yards offshore, has a 2 to 6 foot ledge where fish of all kind abound.

TENNIS

Tennis buffs can enjoy a day on the courts at Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. We offer two hard and two clay tennis courts for a challenging game with friends. Polish your game with the help of our ball machine, or have our resident tennis pro COURTSIDE help you fine-tune your skills with a one-on-one lesson.

BEACHSIDE BUDDIES FOR KIDS

Perfect for children ages 5-12-- Enjoy sports, arts & crafts, swimming, theme days, and games, all under the supervision of our recreation staff. Please sign up at the Recreation Center located poolside or call 954-765-3029 (or internal ext 6735) for information and reservations.

Half Day (10am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm): $45
Full Day (10am - 3pm): $80 per day - includes lunch

Child must be at least 5 years old to participate. Please have children wear swimwear, shoes or sandals, and sunscreen. T-shirts are required for security and identification purposes and are included in the price. Group times and rates are available. PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST BE ON PROPERTY AT ALL TIMES.

Greater Fort Lauderdale is truly an angler's paradise, and guests at Harbor Beach Resort can find world-class fresh water and salt water fishing within easy reach.  More than 200 fresh water species dwell in the area's inland lakes and waterways – including that vast River of Grass, the Everglades.  Deep-water fishing fleets, geared up and ready to take you out into the Atlantic and Gulf Stream in search of  the big ones, are docked within walking distance from the resort.   Families especially enjoy fishing on the area municipal piers that stretch far out over sparkling ocean waters, and visiting the nearby International Game and Fish Association's Fishing Hall of Fame and Museum.  Our concierge staff would be pleased to assist with information and charters.

YACHTING AND BOATING

Not only is Fort Lauderdale the Venice of America, it is the Yachting Capital of the World, with hundreds of miles of inland waterways and the Atlantic Ocean inviting pleasure craft out to play year-round.  To prove the point, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the largest in the world with nearly $2 billion in yachts on display, is staged here every October.

Harbor Beach Resort is the perfect place to join the yachting set with a sail aboard the 53-foot catamaran, Wild Hearts, which provides exclusive service to Harbor Beach guests from November through May.  This magnificent sailing vessel provides sailing charters and snorkel excursions daily for guests, who enjoy a private shuttle service to and from the marina dock, located only minutes from the resort.  Wild Hearts is Coast Guard certified with licensed captain and trained crew aboard during the two-hour excursions.
